We are located in Deming on 5+ acres of moss-covered forest alongside the north fork of the Nooksack River. We provide nature based learning, which combines academic lessons with nature immersion, play, exploration, and social interaction . This approach fosters creativity, confidence, and a love of learning. We are now enrolling preschoolers age 3-6 years for the 2019/2020 school year. School starts on 9/3/2019, Tuesday-Thursday, 9am-1pm. Kids at Bell Creek Nature School spend everyday outside; rain or shine. A little mud won’t slow us down! The EWRRC is a community resource center located in Eastern Whatcom County. The facility is host to many local events, classes, meetings, Head Start preschool, and even a community garden. Whether you are a long time resident, a visitor, or new to the area, the resource center has something for you! KendallWatch

KendallWatch is a not for profit Community Action Organization and Block Watch. The mission of Kendallwatch is to promote a clean, safe, and strong community and to bring factual information to residents regarding topics or events that impact our area. BERT – Baker Emergency Resource Team

Team BERT is a local collective of concerned citizen volunteers serving the Mt Baker foothills communities of Kendall, Maple Falls, Glacier, and Welcome. Our mission statement is “To develop/implement a community preparedness/response program to build community self reliance in emergency situations.” YOU are invited to join us! The Washington SBDC is a network of centers that exist in a cooperative effort of Washington State University, other educational institutions, economic development organizations, and the US Small Business Administration.
