Thinking of moving here?
Living in East Whatcom County, you aren’t too far from the city life when you want it. While day-to-day life in the region offers plenty of tranquility and solitude, all of our communities are located within 35 miles of Bellingham, Washington. Bellingham is the largest city in – and the county seat of – Whatcom County. It is the twelfth-largest city in the state, with more than 80,000 residents, and is the fifth-largest city by metropolitan area, after Seattle-Tacoma, Portland-Vancouver, Spokane-Coeur d’Alene and Yakima-Tri-Cities.
And, of course, there’s the mountain itself. The Mt. Baker Ski Area is known to have some of the best powder in the country for skiing and snowboarding. So you’re never too far for a quick couple hours on the slopes.
